“What an amazing diversity of landscapes, vegetation and animals this small country has. Ecuador is definitely a must visit if ever coming to South America”

At Mashpi Lodge, one of the National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World highly regarded for its conservation work. No more than 60km from Quito as the crow flies and we’re in the middle of a tropical rain forest at 500m altitude. One of the dozen microclimates in Ecuador. What an amazing diversity of landscapes, vegetation and animals this small country has. Ecuador is definitely a must visit if ever coming to South America.

“I think it was divine intervention when my original Antarctica cruise got cancelled, and led me to A2A”

My wonderful and unforgettable Antarctica expedition just ended, and am here by the library waiting for our 8am disembarkation.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you both for your patience in all of my questions. Thank you Lit, for replying to my email as far back as 2017! I think it was divine intervention when my original Antarctica cruise got cancelled, and led me to A2A.

The staff, the expedition team went over and beyond, and we got really lucky that we were able to go down in all of the landing days TWICE, and even a bonus landing too.  I was also able to see all animals, from penguins, to the petrels to seals to the whales.

My 2 roomates were also around my age, and doing a bucket list like me. I really couldn't ask for more.

Thank you, Thank you. If you guys need anything from me, a testimonial or anyone asking about Antarctica, feel free to give my email.

“The Mexico - Cuba trip was so well planned and organised. The tours and activities were so much fun”

Dear Binky and Michael. The Mexico - Cuba trip was so well planned and organised. The tours and activities were so much fun. From the balloon ride to salsa dancing. The restaurants in Mexico were initially a disappointment but when I complained the restaurants were changed to much better ones. We were very happy with the guides and the facilitators at the hotel and airports. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I'll be referring lots of people your way.

“Cuba may not be for everyone but it was certainly for me, I love the grit and character that hits you in the face once you land. I can’t wait to go back !!! ”

What a way to welcome 2020 than to experience CUBA firsthand. It was definitely an eye opening experience, to learn about its culture and history and find out where the country is going. Likewise it was great to take in the flavors, meet its amazing people ( our tour guide José was the best ) and experience the city and its surprises.

One of them is the connection we had with Cuba during the galleon trade and how Filipinos were brought to the island. The guayabera ( Cuban shirt with four pockets and named after the guava, so they could stuff the fruit in the pockets ) had its origin from Manila then Mexico and then Cuba. That piece of trivia made me quite proud of our little known culture and history.

Cuba may not be for everyone ( no mobile or internet service except In the hotel, lack of five star establishments, etc ) but it was certainly for me, I love the grit and character that hits you in the face once you land. I can’t wait to go back !!!

“We couldn’t have asked for more for our anniversary trip and our first time in Latin America and traveling with A2A”

Hi Claire,

As we are at the tail end of our trip, we just wanted to say thank you for all your help, and that it was lovely doing all the planning with you. We felt so well taken care of every step of the way. And even with the “minor hiccup” of our flight to Cusco getting cancelled, we were in such a good mood that it didn’t really bother us, and arriving in the Sacred Valley was extra appreciated.

We couldn’t have asked for more for our anniversary trip and our first time in Latin America and traveling with A2A.

“Overall, one of our best trips ever! Muchas Gracias Michael!”

Hi Michael,

I wanted to let you know that our family is having one of the best adventures we have ever had in this South American trip.

We had a charming, knowledgeable and caring guide in Rio – Marcelo - that made the places we visited come alive with his historical context. We enjoyed immensely the local food as we were able to dine in very good restaurants. Our boutique hotel was very comfortable, spacious (we were upgraded to a suite), well located and aesthetically intriguing. Thank you for the welcome drink and goodies that were waiting for us when we first arrived.

Sylvana, our guide in Buenos Aires, was very informative and personable. We enjoyed the beautiful city with its monuments, government buildings, cemetery, parks, stadiums, shops, restaurants and attractions. I particularly liked seeing the fashionable and elegant locals who graced the city. The Argentinian Tango show was absolutely fascinating and entertaining – and apparently inspiring to my wife (but I think it is more about the spirit being willing but the body may not be fully up to it…). They are superb dancers and top athletes with a grace and elan that is captivating.

Our tour guides in Peru, like the previous ones, were knowledgeable, professional and caring of our needs. They made sure they were readily visible when we left the departure area and that we were properly checked-in when we were departing on our next flight. All of our flights in South America departed and arrived on time.

The highlight of the entire trip was experiencing Machu Picchu – it deserves to be included as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The 2nd highlight was our hike to the peak of Wayna Picchu.

So thank you very much for giving me and my family this unique and memorable experience.

Overall, one of our best trips ever !  Muchas Gracias Michael !
