What type of clothes should I take?

In the Amazon or the Pantanal it is best to wear grey, brown, green or khaki coloured clothing so as not to alert wildlife of your presence. White and other bright colours are definitely not recommended. In Patagonia, the Galapagos and Antarctica, brighter colors are acceptable.

It is also advisable to bring a pair of sandals, comfortable walking shoes, a swimsuit, sunglasses and a hat to block the sun. Camouflage clothing is not allowed and leopard print designs are not recommended!

Bring comfortable clothes that are cool, but that can layer to keep you warm at night. Patagonia and Antarctica's weather is known to change sometimes on an hourly basis and we recommend that you bring layers (fleece, windbreaker, raincoat), thermals, a pair of gloves and a beanie as temperatures can drop below freezing!
