Days 1, 2 & 3. Chinzombo, South Luangwa

After arriving at Mfuwe by air over exquisite terrain, drive to Chinzombo Camp which overlooks the Luangwa River into South Luangwa. Wildly luxurious, this camp oozes style, comfort and elegance, previously unseen in the region. The natural bush feel is amplified by spacious living areas and sumptuous cuisine that allows you to melt into these tranquil surroundings.

Chinzombo is teeming with wildlife that congregate in front of camp to satisfy their thirst. Direct access to the park ensures the finest  drives in wildlife rich areas where amongst others, leopard are more dense than anywhere else and endemics include Thornicroft's giraffe and Lichtenstein hartebeest! 

Days 4, 5 & 6. Shumba Camp, Kafue

Arrive by light aircraft into Kafue's legendary Busanga Plains. Elegant Shumba is found on a wooded island in the centre of the million-hectare Busanga Plains. Home to hundreds of red lechwe, puku and other plains game and their predators, the wild and remote floodplains seemingly go on forever.

Standing sentry over these endless plains are six luxury tented units raised on wooden platforms. Each spacious unit is a tranquil space from which to observe the wilderness – either from your bed, the various seating areas or even the indoor or outdoor showers.

Days 7 & 8. Thorntree River Lodge, Livingstone

Depart by light air transfer to Thorntree River Lodge on the banks of Zambia’s glorious Zambezi River in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. After a refreshing sundowner drink while watching an exquisite African sunset then enjoying an African inspired fine-dining experience.

Just twenty minutes upstream from Victoria Falls the lodge is perfectly positioned to enjoy the cascading spectacle of the Victoria Falls nearby. Activities include guided walks at Victoria Falls, boat cruises, local market and community visits. Other exciting activities include helicopter flights, micro-lighting and white water rafting!

Days 1 and 2. Mfuwe Lodge, South Luangwa

Arrive into South Luangwa National Park, a place famed for its unique species as well as Africa's greatest density of leopard. Located on an untouched oxbow lake, each of Mfuwe Lodge's thatched chalets are decorated with village inspired interiors. The area lures wildlife, including elephants that sometimes walk through reception to devour deliciously scented marula fruits.

Game drives and nature walks uncover lion, leopard, rare wild dogs, giraffe, buffalo, waterbuck and elephants, as well as huge groups of crocodiles and hippos. Relax back at camp with sumptuous bush cuisine, home baked treats and enjoy the afternoon at the bush spa!

Days 3, 4 & 5. Mchenja Camp, South Luangwa

From Mfuwe Lodge game drive along the snaking Luangwa River and up the small Manzi River to the secluded Mchenja Camp. Overlooking a wide river expanse, Mchenja is wonderful for watching large herds of elephants crossing the Luangwa River.

Explore the region's diverse habitats and excellent game viewing, with leopards and lions sometimes wandering through the camp's ebony grove in search of prey. Night drives are usually very rewarding, with the bush revealing a different nocturnal surprise every time.

Days 6, 7 & 8. Kaya Mawa, Lake Malawi

Take an easy flight to Malawi, "The Warm Heart of Africa" into Lake Malawi's remote Likoma Island.
