Days 1, 2 & 3. Singita Sweni, Kruger

Upon arrival at O R Tambo Airport, transfer by air to Singita Sweni Lodge, hidden among a canopy of trees deep inside a private concession in Kruger National Park. Sweni Lodge’s seven suites feature open-plan interiors, a generously stocked minibar, two bathrooms and an outdoor shower overlooking the river – adding to the feeling of being enveloped by an ancient forest.

Game drives get you up close and personal to Africa’s incredible wildlife, while night drives reveal species under a cloak of darkness. Track animals on foot or mountain bike amidst magnificent landscapes. Wildlife includes elephant, leopard, large prides of lion, white and black rhino, buffalo and cheetah.

Days 4, 5 & 6, Singita Boulders, Sabi Sands

After a final game drive, depart on a short flight to Singita Boulders Lodge, set along the banks of the Sand River in the renowned private Sabi Sand Reserve. This area is famed for frequent Big Five as well as a host of other African wildlife sightings, viewed on guided game drives and nature walks. 

The lodge features a contemporary African flair inspired by a boulder buttress amidst which it is built. Innovative design and natural hues create a sense of space that flows in from surrounding vistas through floor to ceiling glass "walls". Rejuvenate in the signature spa or unwind with a selection of wine from the earth cooled underground cellar.

Days 7, 8 & 9. Delaire Graff, Stellenbosch

After a final activity, depart by air to the "Mother City" of Cape Town and transfer to the indulgent tranquil paradise of Delaire Graff, perched on the slopes of the magnificent Helshoogte mountain pass and surrounded by sweeping views across stunning vineyards and mountains towards Stellenbosch. 

Ten contemporary décor style lodges, each with its own private plunge pool art and design combine with gourmet food, award-winning wines and a world-class spa. Excursions include vineyard walks, wine tasting and visits to the historic towns of nearby Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Days 1, 2 & 3. Dulini, Sabi Sands

After arriving at the airstrip, game drive to Dulini Camp, set amongst a peaceful grove and embraced by a leafy canopy of giant Ebony trees in the exclusive Sabi Sand Reserve. Days 4, 5 & 6. Tswalu, Kalahari

Fly to Tswalu in the Kalahari, a vast, magical land of infinite possibility, with sweeping vistas and a liberating sense of space. The Motse was completely refurbished in 2019, a secluded ‘village’ of nine legae (dwellings), each with an open viewing deck and open fireplace. 

The Kalahari attracts wildlife enthusiasts and include enormous black-maned lions as well as charismatic meerkats. Home to rarities such as pangolin and aardvark, Tswalu is a perfect combination with Dulini. Activities are equally diverse and include horse rides, walks, game drives and Bushman rock art site visits.

Days 7, 8 & 9. Ellerman House, Cape Town

Depart the arid Kalahari and fly to Cape Town. Ellerman House lies in the heart of one of the city's most exclusive suburbs, just ten minutes away from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and walking distance to the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. This elegant Edwardian mansion offers gourmet cuisine, fine vintage wines and an impressive private art collection, plus a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Excursions are diverse: take a cable car ride up Table Mountain, amble through the World Heritage gardens of Kirstenbosch, saunter around the modern V&A Waterfront, explore the historic vignerons of Franschhoek or visit Robben Island.

Days 1, 2 & 3. Madikwe Game Reserve

On arrival at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg, you will be met and escorted onto your awaiting flight to Madikwe Safari Lodge, in a game rich malaria free private reserve. Everything about this reserve is vast – the landscapes, heavens and wildlife.

Home to unsurpassed topography and richly blessed with wildlife, sightings can include lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah, zebra and giraffe.

Days 4, 5 & 6. More Quarters, Cape Town

After a morning activity, fly to Cape Town and check in to "classic contemporary" More Quarters with its "flat topped" Table Mountain backdrop. More Quarters combines apartment living with fine hospitality, which makes for a relaxed professional ambiance in the "Mother City".

Within walking distance are artisanal eateries and stylish shops while the Cape Peninsula invites daily explorations of Table Mountain, scenic Chapman's Peak, Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated, nearby vineyards in the picturesque Franschhoek valley and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Days 7, 8 & 9. Grootbos, Hermanus

After a sumptuous breakfast depart for the coastal town of Hermanus. Grootbos is an eco-paradise within the world's most diverse plant kingdom with stunning marine life at the southern tip of Africa nearby. It is renowned for the "Marine Big 5" - migrating whales, great white sharks, dolphins, seals and penguins. Revel in a vast array of activities and indulge in the country's finest Pinot Noir wines close by.

Garden Lodge is set in the heart of this natural beauty, surrounded by carefully manicured fynbos gardens and native trees. Activities include whale watching (in season), walks and hikes, flower safaris, horse riding, birdwatching, scenic flights and quad biking.

Days 1, 2 & 3. Kwandwe, Eastern Cape

Upon arrival in Port Elizabeth, road transfer to Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, a world-class Big Five safari destination nestled in the heart of South Africa’s unspoilt Eastern Cape. The 22,000 hectares of pristine private wilderness stretches either side of the Great Fish River which meanders for 30 kilometres through scenic landscape.  

Set in the heart of the reserve in thick vegetation overlooking a dense valley, Ecca Lodge offers breathtaking views onto an escarpment of steep shale cliffs. With only 6 suites, of which 3 are dedicated to families, the lodge is intimate, relaxed and trendy.

Days 4 & 5. Turbine Hotel, Knysna

Private transfer via Port Elizabeth to the the Turbine Hotel & Spa, an iconic power station transformed into a unique 5 star boutique hotel in Knysna. Soak up its fascinating history as you walk past massive turbines on the balcony and marvel at the intriguing steel pillars and pipes that now form part of its funky décor.

Days 6, 7 & 8. Lekkerwater Beach Lodge, De Hoop

After an early breakfast enjoy a scenic drive through the Garden Route and into one of the most glorious coastal reserves in Africa famous for some of the best whale watching on the planet from July to November.  Yyou’ll also spot sizeable pods of dolphin and all sorts of marine life – the ultimate, land-based marine safari.

Lekkerwater's (meaning ‘the place of good water’) seven rooms are located on a six-kilometre stretch of private beach, complete with stunning rock pools and fish life. Enjoy walks with experienced naturalists, an array of fynbos to be discovered, a plethora of marine life to be explored.

Days 9, 10, 11 & 12. More Quarters, Cape Town

After a leisurely morning, drive through the Cape Fold Mountains or along the Whale Route coastal road into Cape Town. MORE Quarters is at the heart of the cafés, wine bars, boutiques and interior design shops of Kloof Street.
