Dzanga Bai is a huge clearing in the middle of the rainforest where forest elephants gather in large numbers to indulge in drinking its mineral-rich waters. The interaction between so many different groups of forest elephants and the possibility of seeing other normally shy forest creatures like bongo, giant forest hog, red river hog, sitatunga and forest buffalo visiting the bai make for an unforgettable wildlife experience.
