Situated beyond the Seychelles plateau, these 72 low-lying sand cays and atolls between 230 kilometres and 1,150 kilometres from Mahé.  Less visited than their granitic cousins due to their relative remoteness, these pristine islands are untouched habitats for many species of wildlife.
